I know what it feels like to carry grief in the body; to feel exhausted, tender, overwhelmed, and in need of real support. My work was shaped not only through study and practice, but through lived experience and a deep commitment to helping women find gentler ways to care for themselves through loss, stress, and transformation.

As a Grief & Healing Practitioner, Somatic Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, and Meditation Guide, I bring together trauma-informed somatic science, polyvagal theory, breath, movement, and the healing wisdom of my Afro-Caribbean roots.

When grief keeps you awake at night, you don’t have to face it alone.

This powerful spoken-word style poem, “Masks of Motherhood,” is a deeply intimate and layered reflection on Black and Brown womanhood, motherhood, generational trauma, healing, and grief. It uses a conversational and poetic voice to guide a young woman named Tamika through understanding her emotions and her mother’s struggle—framing personal and ancestral pain within the collective experience of women across the African diaspora.
